In this fight to fund our public schools, we are part of a movement that began well before our time and will last long past our presence here on Earth. That is hardly solace in the wake of Monday’s failed vote to override the Governor’s veto of a bipartisan compromise education package that would have stabilized and invested in Alaska’s great public education system. The struggle seems endless, but I implore you not to give up. Our children need you.
